We Are Here Mural No.2 2023

Rights Community Action commissioned two murals in Lowestoft as part of the WeAreHere campaign to encourage community resilience to the climate emergency. Art Eat selected artists from Bud Studio who worked with 25 community participants to discuss the climate emergency and do creative workshops to develop the designs. This mural depicts a woman urging people to use their voices to create positive change. Flood waters, a water level marker and seagulls feature in this mural as a nod to the climate emergency and the devastating floods of 1952.
